Howdy everyone,

First issue:

All of my win2k clients are generating the following
error:

smbd/nttrans.c:call_nt_transact_ioctl(1762)
call_nt_transact_ioctl. Currently not implemented.

I initially thought that it was a guest user account
issue ( I saw something similar to that in the samba
archives ) But I changed the guest account from nobody
(which didn't work) to a new account, samba, I set up
for that purpose. (So far the samba account hasn't
generated any error messages when it's used for guest
printing etc) Any ideas how I can clear this up?

Second issue:

I'm having an, albeit minor, yet annoying, issue with
client browsing. If I map a drive to the samba server
on a client machine, the clients machine will show the
drive as unavailable in explorer. Yet I can click the
drive and get at the files just fine. I'm thinking
it's some sort of timeout issue related to the socket
options. I read the socket man pages and all the
socket option related material in samba docs and still
haven't come up with any solution. Does anyone have
any ideas on this one?

Thanks,

ken
