Today I started receiving messages like this on my Mandrake 8.1 machine: Device 08:07 not ready. I/O error: dev 08:07, sector 32 Device 08:07 not ready. I/O error: dev 08:07, sector 524288 Device 08:01 not ready. I/O error: dev 08:01, sector 491522 Device 08:01 not ready. I/O error: dev 08:01, sector 491534 Device 08:01 not ready.
I'm guessing these are scsi errors, however I do not know how to identify what devices are causing the errors. Actually, I only have two scsi disks installed - no tape, no cd, etc. and I find it hard to believe both disks are going at the same time. I also don't know what "08:07" and "08:01" refer to. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.
