for anyone to be able to help, you'll have to be more specific. if you're running the Galeon that came with MDK8.1, then yes, it crashes all the time and does wierd stuff to gnome. try upgrading galeon to 1.0.1. rock solid IMO. so, upgrade and restart X. otherwise, get us more details.
