Eric,
BACK UP!!! I'm only saying this because backups just saved my buns. I
just upgraded the same way. Kudzu tried to recognize all the new
hardware, (and probably would have) and then the new mobo itself went
south. Two trashed HDD"S 4 trash mem sticks and two trips to the store
where I bought the mobo later and I'm back in the saddle. Not saying your
experience will be the same but it's worth the effort to first save
anything you want or need to keep. btw anyone need a 20 gig paperweight?
NOTE: I've used litterally hundreds of ASUS mobo's and this is the first
bad one I've ever seen so I'm not knocking the mobo at all.
