Hi
With kmail, go to the settings dialog, Identity tab. Change the Default 
identity in drop down list to where you want the error sent. Note that 
this preferable should be a valid internet address, eg, not 
root@localhost! 

Then create a new identity with your ordinary address for daily use and 
use that whenever writing mails.
