Ric, The command "exportfs -ua" will not work to "unexport" directories that have been manually removed from the system. At least, this is the case when using NFS v2. A lesson to learn, as I once did, is to run the "exportfs -ua" first, and then do the deleting of directories off your file system.... -- J.
