in the firectory containing the fonts, there needs to be two extra files - fonts.dir and fonts.scale. The dir file is created by using mkfontdir THe scale is created using ttmkfdir and is needed by mkfontdir, so ttmkfdir needs to be run first. This is all assuming they are true type. Whats the extension on the font??
