Mandrake boasts an installation for powerpc but not only is it difficult to use it isn't even nearly as easy as its x86 counterpart! I have been trying over the last several days to get linux working on my new powerbook titanium g4 computer and have eventually concluded defeat. There is almost NO documentation on it, and very little specific installation instructions, people claim to have achieved my installation but don't leave any writings on it, just a checkmark. I need any help possible to getting this done, the partitioning was done correctly, but DrakX will not boot because it keeps hanging. So I used the text installer and got a decent distance, until I found out that it couldn't configure X? Well that's a problem. Anybody that has done this, could you please tell me how you did it? I am seriously considering Suse at this point, but it doesn't seem to be as open as mandrake so I'd prefer mandrake, please help me out anybody.
