I instaslled MandrakeUpdateRobot-1.1-3mdk on a Mandrake 8.1 system running on a laptop. I'm very disapointed because MandrakeUpdateRobot starts running but waits forever on "Downloading the mirror" stage, while comsuming 96% cpu.
My laptop is ethernet connected to the LAN. I tried the default ftp site and then many ftp sites that I use to connect to. Did I forget something ? About MandrakeUpdateRobot, many references are made to "http://www.cyest.org/drakupdatetxt/"; , but this URL is out.
