And no, NFS is not required, because the Mdk installations can use Samba to share, just as easily as they can use NFS. However, since Win9x can't use NFS, might as well just stick with 1 sharing solution - Samba. And backups are good. :-) On my work LAN, we do a 3 week rotation of tapes - IOW, we can get back any file within the last 3 weeks. > about this subject in any system administration book?
