No...I'm not thumbing my nose at anyone, or crowing that I've accomplished something others had tried and failed at. I just wanted to let the list know that it "can" be done.
I'm running a Mandrake 8.1 system AND the 2.4.17 kernel WITH supermount in full operation. I know this has been a thread on the list for a little while and actually it was pretty simple. All I did was to install the kernel and iptables packages from the 8.2beta1 CD into my 8.1 system, made the necessary changes to my fstab and rebooted the system. And away it went! it couldn't have been less painless. -- daRcmaTTeR --------------------------------------------------------------------- Registered Linux User 182496 --------------------------------------------------------------------- 7:05am up 1 day, 9:35, 2 users, load average: 0.92, 0.59, 0.42
