Does anyone know which is the most correct way to remove the default route 0.0.0.0 ? When issuing netstat -nr I see a line of this type:
0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1. 0.0.0.0 UG 40 0 0 eth0 If I dial, I am not able to ping ANY site. If I use "route delete default" then I can dial and I can use the internet. So, instead of doing "route delete default" each time I log into or instead than adding the above into rc.local, is there a better way to avoid this problem ? Thanks a lot indeed.
