I have installed the sendmail-cf-8.12.1-4mdk rpm and I am following the
directions in the enclosed README.

When I issue the:

make install-cf CF=<Name>

I get a error indicating that the ../../devtools/bin/install.sh: Command
not found

This makes sense as the structure for sendmail expects that the
sendmail-cf directory structure is intact with the sendmail-devel
software.

The problem here is that the sendmail-cf software is installed in the
/usr/share/sendmail-cf tree, while the sendmail-devel software is
installed in the /usr/share/doc/sendmail-devel tree. This is further
broken up with the libmilter software being installed in the
/usr/include, /usr/include/libmilter and /usr/lib directory trees.

I use the MIMEDefang software extensively, with Very good Results in
fact. Not to mention the use of JunkFilter for SPAM Filtering. Most of
the installations require that the Milter Components be installed into
various trees of the Milter Package for compilation. With the
dispersement of the sendmail components as the are, I am thankful that I
am proficient in Find/Locate tools.

Is there a Particular reason for the differentiation of the sendmail-cf
and sendmail-devel kits? Both of these packages are dependent on each
other for their proper use.
