Okay, I REALLY REALLY want to get WINE working. Perhaps a wine guru can tell
me what I'm doing wrong, or what is wrong with the distro.

First, it is complaining about the filesystem type. It doesn't matter that it
is actually ext2, or reisser (which it is), so why is it complaining? Second,
the path is in fact correct, so I'm confused about why it is complaining.

Drive C: unknown filesystem type 'ext2', defaulting to 'win95'.
Invalid path 'c:\windows' for windows directory: does not exist
Perhaps you have not properly edited or created your Wine configuration file.
This is (supposed to be) '/home/lshantz/.wine/config'

This is a snippet of the wine.config file. I've checked it against Lycoris
(redmond linux) config file and it is all but identical and theirs works, so
I'm leaning towards a distro problem. Any help?

[Drive C]
"Path" = "/home/lshantz/windows"
"Type" = "hd"
"Label" = "MS-DOS"
"Filesystem" = "win95"
