Hallo i were try to isntall new mandrake 8.2. I never use other linux at that machine and i got this problem. I have only SCSI devices, so boot comes up, then he try to detect scsi. he identify my 2940 as 7881 and then become black screen, numlock not work, its dead. when i try other drivers from yours CD(7xxx) it do same. i tested 2.4.18,2.4.14 AHA 2940 had 2 firmwares 1st were 2.57.? second 2.20.0
