Well the truth be known, you probably did smoke to much grass. But as long as you did not hang out with Owsley, you should be ok... Try running hdparm -tT /dev/hdx (where x is your device) to get a comparison of speed on your different mount points. (now there would be no one here that would know Owsley, right?) -- J.
