The firewall settings are available, but the Tiny Firewall was causing
all sorts of problems except on standalone systems.. So it was pulled
for a rewrite--the basic sassumptions were too conservative and the
options simply had not been offered and this is tricky, because we have
to offer the options with explanation to newbies.
As for your post about showstoppers, more likely it is side effects, and
membership in the cooker list or in the crashtesters is open. We have
very few QA engineers and we have no way to test every possible
configuration or use. If you want improvement in that area, you CAN do
something about it by becoming a tester.
For crashtesters membership, email me privately. For cooker, just go to
the main page and look under Developers and sign up.
