Hey..!! check this one out! ;oP [root@localhost invitado]# lsmod | grep snd | sort [root@localhost invitado]# [root@localhost invitado]# lsmod ----among other stuff ---- es1370 25264 1 soundcore 4068 4 [es1370] gameport 1756 0 [es1370] --------------------------- i think i'm using OSS, i'm not quite sure, but i had problems once with having more sound drivers than needed, conflicting, and doing a chkconfig --del alsa solved it HTH Damian
