Your laptop requires the more expensive stuff. Feel fortunate. I have a CT4850 for which I am unable to obtain memory or HDD, and a 430CDT which fails on any attempt to install anything later than 7.2 Mandrake. (BTW, the 65555 on board uses FBDev faster and better than the SVGA, and with equal resolution.) Civileme
