my setup :
hardware : laptop Dell 5000e, BIOS rel 6
OS : Mandrake 8.2, kernel 2.4.18
XFree86 setup : touchpad (/dev/psaux) as "CorePointer", Logitech USB
Wheelmouse (/dev/input/mouse0) as "SendCoreEvents"
Problem : when resuming from APM-suspend-to-ram, the Logitech mouse is
sometimes not found by XFree86. The error message appears in
/var/log/XFree86.0.log :

to me, it's clear : the XFree resume happens too early, before the hotplug
has finished the USB mouse initialization (and therefore before
/dev/input/mouse0 gets created by devfs).
Anyone seeing the same problem, and can propose a working solution ?
