ok, I tried starting evolution several times (about 20); I was able to
reproduce the original problem only a few times. I did get the problem
to happen even when I did killev first, but not as often as without. I
went ahead and added killev to my menu to execute before evolution and so
far it seems to work. I'll let you know if it reverts back to the
previous behavior. Strange, eh?
