OK, I'm asking for some help now. I've got to record sound coming from the sound card into wav or mp3 format. I've looked at krecord but I can't install it on this LM81 system; it won't recognize my artsd library as valid.
Has anybody else got some recommendations for something that will work? It would be nice to get it recording into mp3 format so that the hard drive won't be filled with one big wav. Does Xmms have a recording plugin that I've missed? Info? Suggestions? Anybody?
