I have an IBM 300PL (PII 300Mhz - 128Mb ram). It has onboard Crystal CS4235 chipset. During install I get the message to configure sound after install is complete. When I run sndconfig it detects a 'ISAPNP Model : Crystal Audio:Disabled'. (It is enabled in the BIOS) sndconfig can play the Linus sound sample (it's very soft.) When it tries to play the midi file it fails with the message..
