I've been very pleased with netmasq. It's a set of shell scripts to provide firewall and masquerading services. I really like that its quick and easy to use. Simply edit a few small text files to indicate which services to allow and which ip addresses to deny, run the netmasq script, and your firewall rules are set/updated. The author is in our local LUG. He's a SysAdmin at a nearby public library. netmasq can be found at http://pulse.cantonpl.org/carl/netmasq.html. David
