Starting system logger: syslogd: /dev/xconsole with : *.info;mail.*;authpriv.*;kern.*;local1.* |/dev/grc: No such file or d I don't have /dev/xconsole and i dont need this color stuff, whats this /dev/grc anyhow? I dont want all this I want a simple edit my /etc/syslog.conf like i did and it worked and then this stupid msec removed it after cron.hourly for some dumb reason. -- Chad Young Linux User #195191
