It's on the Mandrake CD's. If you run the software manager and search for bastille, you'll find it. It's sort of GUI, but is really just a series of questions with lots of explanatory text, to allow you to set up firewall rules without needing to know much. It also takes you through other possibilities of making your system more secure by disabling known security holes, like telnet (if you want it too).
The main part has probably already been installed on your system, but probably not the "interactive" bit. You'll see something in software manager called bastille-tk-module (close to that anyway). Install that and you'll be set. Then just become root and type the command: InteractiveBastille just as it appears above. cheers Brian On Sun, 2002-04-21 at 22:18, faisal gillani wrote: > > thanks for the reply freind .... just help me a little more & tell me what is this >InteractiveBastille > is ti present in the default installation of mandrake ? mandrake cd ? tell me where >i can find it ? > also is it GUI ? > > thanks > Faisal > Brian Parish <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: OK - no problem.
