i was trying to update my machine from 8.0 to 8.2 but both update and update
packages only fail. it complains about fsck error.
which is weird since 8.0 boots fine.
fsck runs if i don't shutdown properly and fixes whatever shows up without
error.

any thoughts?

i am loathe to do a clean install. it took me so long to get kde and all my
other stuff set up how i like them.
