ya know...i'd be willin to bet that this particular vendor has/had a
previous arangement to sell MS loaded desktops and was looking to make
some new customers by giving away systems to schools for future contacts.
if they ahd such an agreement with MS then the big turd would be fully
within their rights to insist that the "not" do this. I can't see any
other way this would be possible.
