We get kernel panic while trying to install LM8.2 on a pc266 m810 motherboard with an Athlon. The same happens when trying to install RedHat 7.2. But it does install using the 2.2.19 kernel on the LM8.2 install CDROM.
A google search gave mixed results: One person had a kernel panic while installing RH 7.2. Another person had the same MB running fine with RH 7.2. The question was raised if this problem could be a speed problem. Does anybody know if this problem is a speed problem or something else? Or does anybody know anything else about the pc266 m810 MB? -- Bjarne
