Ok, first run a "rpm -i some_package.src.rpm. This command will put a spec file in "/usr/src/RPM/SPECS" directory (on mandrake distributions). cd on over to this spec file, vi the file, and add the options that you want to have compiled into the rpm package. After completing this, run the rpm --rebuild some_package.src.rpm, and you should be good to go. Make sense? Dr John -- J.
