Hi,

I am trying to install the Panotools photostitching software.

I downloaded and unzipped the software, and put the library file
libpano12.so in /usr/lib as instructed. When you run the java
application you get the error message "Could not load library pano12".

After changing the permissions, renaming the file to pano12 and many
other permutations i thought it could be compatibility problems with the
library so i tried to recompile it. At this point i get the error
message "sys_ansi.h: No such file or directory".

Does anyone know what this file is, and which package it may be part of,
or has anyone had any success with Panotools. I did do a search on
Google and noted that someone else had posted to this list with the same
problem in January but had not had any reply.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, so i can rid my computer of a
part of the evil Microsoft empire!

By the way, i am running version 8.2 of Mandrake.

Many thanks
