Hi David, put the Mandrake 8.2 disk 1 into the CDROM and boot the CD. at the install prompt that comes up type rescue and hit <ENTER>. when things get done loading the routine into memory you'll be presented with a menu. from the menu choose repair/reinstall lilo boot loader. reboot your machine and all should be just fine. -- daRcmaTTeR ---------- Registered Linux User #186492
