James, Et al. The site http://www.chkrootkit.org/ is an exceptional site, which I highly recommend. The reason that I knew that the server was not root kitted, was because I ran 0.35 against the server.
I would like to recommend that Mandrake consider using the chkrootkit software as part of their Security package for the OS. You should seriously consider running this on a Daily Basis.
