Greetings all, I was working with the Bastille firewall yesterday, and I had left my machine for a while, and when I came back, I could not unlock the screensaver, login kept failing.
I can login via the console fine, but when I bring up XDM at boot-up, no user can login? I am guessing it is a file permission problem, but I do not know which file it is (if that is the problem). I changed my inittab to boot into multiuser mode, and I can startx fine from the command line. I have not had much success finding a fix to this problem on the web.
