Make sure the the xfs server is running: [root@omicron root]# service xfs status xfs (pid 1560) is running... If it's not, restart it. If you get an error about "subsys locked", try deleting the /var/run/xfs.pid then restarting xfs with: [root@omicron root]# service xfs start If it doesn't restart properly, try reinstalling the xfs package in case it has gotten corrupted.
