I use Mandrake on my workstation - kernel is now 2.4.19-pre7-ac2 with preempt-kernel and low-latency patches. Does anyone know if there is a mandrake version of the kernel with special support for a dual Xeon with hyperthreading workstation? My current configuration sees 4 logical processors, but all interrupts are handled by processor 0, and the scheduler does not seem to take account of sibling logical processors. Setting processor affinity seems to require more patches as well. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks, niall
