oh duh, I just read more of the error, try adding the path to the command ie.; kpackage /home/banana/whatsthehecknamed.rpm (of course change home/banana/whatsthehecknamed. to what ever is particular to your file setup and where ever the RPM or whatever you are using kpackage for (I recall it works for .deb too) is.
