i have edited /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess so that there is a line: * #allow any host to login i have edited /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config so that there is a line: ! DisplayManager.requestPort: 0 i have run #telinit 3 and then telinit 5 on the prosuite box and then from my mandrake 8.2 workstation i have run $ Xnest -query <prosuiteboxip> :1 however i cannot get any repsone form the prosuite box, #ps on that box gives the following: root 30052 0.0 0.8 2408 704 ?
