Well, of course it's proprietary. however, it's the only proprietary platform I "don't" mind spending money for. it's far less expensive then M$; it doesn't require rebooting; it isn't virus prone; its extremely stable, much like my Mandrake boxes; it is VERY secure, scalable, AND supports literally thousands of users....on and on, adinfinitum. for the life of me I can't understand why with Unix, Linux, and Netware out there WHY people insist on using crap like NT.
