Install Kdevelop and start using that as your IDE. It is the most
instructional programming interface I've ever seen. My brother now
prefers it over Borland's IDE, which he was raised on. ;)
Once you get past the shell shock of todays multiplatform programming
standards accommodated by Kdevelop, and the associated steps and
configuration files, you will find yourself a quantum leap ahead of the
rest of the pack.
