Well, my login aready had KDE3 on the list with the others. When I choose kde3, kde 2.2.2 starts, but some apps crash on me, but I am able to run noatun or othe kde3 apps but not all kde3 apps. this may explain more on my problem than what I had written earlier.. Harold
