Hi,
I recently downloaded Mandrake 8.2. Bummer
during installation it said:
.<.... lots of debug crap about IDE> and
then:
trying to kill init, kernel panic.
Looks like it doesn't like my IDE drivers or
somthing. When I boot from floppy with a 2.2 kernel it works
ok.
Anyone have any clue how to "cleanly" install 8.2
with a 2.4 kernel?
I am sure there must be some kind of woraround or
kernel option at the bootloader to make it work.
Any ideas??
