I've seen this where you have a "chained" lan IE 192.168.0.x and then
10.x.x.x is used for each of the subnets. (Say one for management one
net for IT one net for Sales etc etc )  Most often I've seen it where
the first one is the Master net and then each floor contains one or more
subnets (How else can you put 1400 users behind a single firewall
cluster?)
