Me too ;) Newbie list is more tolerant.

"If you want help, use MandrakeExpert or the _mailing lists_ or the
alt.os.linux.mandrake newsgroup, the various #mandrake IRC channels
etc."

_mailing lists_ is a link to all the Mdk mailing lists including expert
and newbie. Contrary to Vincent Danen's recent opinion that this list
is inappropriate for anything but currently released versions. Read all
the comments

Read all the replies, note the names, email addresses, many are from
Mdk developers. EG, Warly is a Mdk developer. Bottom line: there are
no good, viable, working places to post bug reports for the beta's.

Understandable, but you should check the cooker archive, and if
you're convinced you have found an unreported, unfixed bug, report it
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You don't have to subscribe. You
should check the archive tho.

From whatever source, it appears that most all bug reports,
specially those posted to the cooker list are ignored, or at least not
acknowledged. Those posted to MdkExpert are just passed to the cooker
list after a delay. In fairness tho, many times they're seemingly
ignored because they are obsolete. Already reported and/or fixed before
they were reported. RC1 was obsolete shortly after it appeared on the
mirrors. IMO, the only time you can find a bug worth reporting is if
you stay current with cooker. There's been _many_ important updates,
bug fixes in cooker since RC1.
