cp -dpr should be able to copy all the 8.2 / off to somewhere else, then just make a new partion
mke2fs -j -c /dev/hdb1 -c checks for bad blocks (best to be safe) then copy the files back from where ever you backed them up to boot in as single user mode in 7.2 is best JG Daniel Anderson wrote: > Hi, > > I have a major problem.
