yesterday I tried to integrate the swsusp beta14 into the 2.4.19-16mdk kernel (Mdk9.0). The coompilation went well, but when I tried to boot the new kernel I get a "busybox: unresolved symbol refrigerator" and then insmod failes apparently for ext3 and modprobe fails to exec and the kernel panics because no init can be found. So I think the / filesystem can't be mounted. I read that swsusp does not work with ext3 so I changed the fs to ext2.

My big problem is that all my other kernels (based on 2.4.19-16mdk) won't boot anymore either. I have to boot from cdrom and then I can mount and chroot my disk disk no problem.

Can this have to do with the initrd images?

Any pointers how to solve this are welcome.

Thanks
Jan
