I had not discoverd this topix since I use digital-tv there it is a lot easier. Try these: - ffmpeg /ffmpeg-server - mplayer/mencoder - VLC (Video Lan Client) And I think there are several other issues. With DVB a PII 300 would be far enough ( mpeg2 direct from Sattelite, Cable and hardware decoder on-card) Greets Steffen
