You are correct.  And I do rememember setting the system to GMT at
installation....as a matter of fact I would rather the hwclock be set to
GMT instead of localtime; it seems like a cleaner solution.  I never
have looked at the situation seriously since I boot into windog so
seldom these days.  Mostly for Morrowind and tougher copy-protected cd
backups.
