My screen is clearing during the boot process.
I have things arranged that all my boot stuff comes
out onto a VT screen (with a nice tiny font) during
boot so I can see everything. But in Mdk 9.0
it's clearing right in the middle.

I've traced the problem to the call to:

`/usr/share/harddrake/service_harddrake' in `/etc/init.d/harddrake'.

If you run service_harddrake by hand (as root) in a
VT it'll clear the screen. Problem is this is a Perl
script which calls a bunch of other Perl in
`/usr/lib/libDrakX' and I can't find where the actual
"clear" occurs so I can shut it off.
N.B.: it doesn't help that I'm illiterate in Perl.

If anyone would care to tell me what to do I'd be much obliged.
