Hi Alex, If it's rated 10/100, it'd imply auto-sensing. Of course it could be broken or something. Are the cables you use high quality? That's another thing I'd check out...
I've got some rtl8139 clone cards as well, but none of them are integrated, and implementations vary, of course.
